“I have had nothing but praise from my members who unanimously agree it was one of the best, if not the best, in recent memory. Believe me they are not an easy bunch to please so that is praise indeed! Everything went to plan without many of the hiccups we have experienced on other trips. The choice of hotel was excellent as was the Rome trip. You even managed to get the weather right!
Special mention must be made of Peter whose meticulous research and attention to detail ensured we got the absolute maximum from our battlefield tours in the time available. We visited more sites than on previous Italian trips and certainly received the most informative narrative ever. In addition to his role as tour guide Peter also ensured all necessary in situ arrangements were made thus taking considerable pressure off me. For the first time I was just able to sit back and enjoy the trip with everyone else.”
