ARCTIC CONVOY MEDAL
Please support the e-petition "That the Government issue a medal for all those members of the Armed forces and the Merchant Navy involved in the Arctic Convoys during the second World War" CLICK HERE We have until 15th August 2012

Remembrance of the nation's war dead for many people, conjures up poppies, wreaths, the two-minute silence and the local war memorial on Remembrance Sunday. This is right and proper but, for many, it is not enough.
We at Spirit of Remembrance honour those whose sacrifice gave us the freedoms we enjoy. Our dedication is written from the heart. We can offer a deeper form of Remembrance that comes from understanding the events that led to the sacrifice of thousands of our young men and women over the centuries. True understanding comes from visiting where history was made in the company of like minded people and an expert battlefield guide.
We will take you to the most famous battles in which British and Commonwealth soldiers took part, and tell you what it was like. Though our guides are storytellers they also have operational service experience .
You may chose from FIRST WORLD WAR and SECOND WORLD WAR tours. From a personal journey, tailor made for individuals or families to larger groups for likeminded people. We can also arrange tours for regimental or local associations. Our themed tours are fascinating but let us know if you have any special areas of interest. We are here to help, just click here
We also recognise the contributions of the Armed Forces in our "Remember Them" section and with this
in mind we actively promote Heroes Welcome. Look out for this logo that indicates a warm welcome, up grade, special acknowledgement or even a discount.
We welcome everyone, veterans and their relatives and those researching their family history. Our guides and can help you fill out gaps in your family history.
