Christopher Church was commission from RMA Sandhurst into the Somerset and Cornwall Light Infantry in August 1963. He has served in Berlin, Norway, Canada and Kenya with operation service in Aden and Northern Ireland.
He was also an instructor at the RMA Sandhurst before turning to a civilian career in 1974, working in defence industries.His interest in military history began during his time at Sandhurst. He has a particular interest in both the World Wars, as well as the Indian Mutiny due to family connections.
He gets great satisfaction in telling the stories of individuals and regiments who did extraordinary things. He has been guiding since 2007
He lives in Hampshire, is married and has many grandchildren.
