Join us for this once in a lifetime tour - commemorating the pivotal 'Battle of Britain' - which saved Britain and the Free world from the Nazis (Includes the famous Duxford Air Show, 'London Blitz' Tour, Bomber Command, and much more!) 80th Anniversary-Battle of Britain
During its history the Australian Army has fought a large number of major wars - many far away from home. These include the Second Boer War (1899–1902), First World War (1914–1918) on the Western Front and at Gallipoli, the Second World War (1939–1945) in North Africa and the Pacific, the Korean War (1950–1953), The Malayan Emergency (1950–1960), The Confrontation (1962–1966) and the Vietnam War (1962–1973). In many ways the sacrifice of the First World War established Australia (as it did Canada and New Zealand) - as countries in their own right.
Anzac Day - uniquely Australian - and a pivotal part of our national identity - came from WW1 and Sir John Monash - our most famous Australian.
