From 1940 to 1945, allied bombardments killed between 60,000 and 75,000 French civilians : they were not soldiers, they were not Resistants but they died for France.
We are reminded these victims by the film Nantes sous les bombes alliées, une histoire oubliée de la…

One more suggestion : Fromelles

As far as I am concerned, I can't forget to mention Fromelles : a visit as a battle field followed by explanations about military archaelogy and training would be great. As a application, why not starting research for a site to explore ?

Operation Mincemeat : from a corpse to William Martin or the deception preparing operation Husky. Cruise from UK to Spain (the place William Martin was found), visit of his burial place at Huelgo, a tour to Sardinia in order to explore the defences followed by Sicily (the first days of Husky). Eventually a trip to Greece (the deception place).

Because they are islands, I suggest to cruise from a D-Day port in order to study the maritime routes and then navigate from an island to the…

Why not a tour in the UK about the Intelligence : Beaulieu, Bletchley Park, etc. ?
Battle of Britain : airfields, martyred cities (Coventry, London, Plymouth, etc.).
Operation Dynamo : a part of the tour in France or how the BEF retreated from the frontline to Dunkirk; then in Dover, visit of the War Tunnels (Admiral Ramsey's headquarters) but also visiting…
